Apres Ski

It is so hard to stay chic when it is minus degrees outside. On many occasions I have given into the cold and swaddled myself in a puffer, losing all shape and basically looking like a walking duvet. So it was with determination that for my first ever ski trip I would be tres chic despite the frosty temps.

For the slopes I headed to Sweaty Betty and kitted myself out from head to toe; who cares if I was all show and no go, I looked like I knew what I was doing. I fell in love with the Ramsay ski suit but opted for the ski jacket and snug trouser; perfect for warmth without the extra bulk. I was disappointed not to be walking out with the Deep fur hat but as my seasonsed skiier husband Mr B. pointed out, wet and fur are not a good combination.

To stay sartorially impressive for apres ski (I am still suffering vin chaud withdrawals) I bundled up by expertly layering with lots of textural touches. I wanted to mix my A/W pieces with 2 key S/S trends; colour and maxi length. Here are a few pieces that will keep you snug and stylish.
